A slice of Lesley's life

Delivery Day

Anna and I have mainly played the role of delivery driver and mate today. With all our collections at the same spot - Venta Luciano - a flamenco dance school and the nearest point with a real road to our house. Firstly to escort a fridge/freezer along the river bed and, as you can see, slightly insanely, halfway up the drive before they did the last part on foot.

Secondly to meet a DHL man in a van with a parcel from Amazon. Impressive really given our remoteness. It was a gift and an experiment from a fellow blipper so if the message didn't get through then yay it arrived and thank you.

Final delivery was a taxi bringing Carlos from the airport and London and a week of real work in actual shoes. Now he's here for three weeks.

A bit of a dip day for Jackson...but we know it isn't linear and we will hope to have more good days than bad. And he did make it into the pool late this afternoon and was a lively Chase the Acer this evening so not all bad at all.

Anna in contrast has been on a high all day with the impending return of her father. She did see fit to point out to me that she would be equally excited if it were me, which I thought was a nice touch.

And now a relatively quiet and early night following the late night on the terrace yesterday.
