Nostalgia

This is a pretty guinea pig! When my children were young and we lived on the other side of the world, we had quite a few guinea pigs. It was fun when they had babies - able to run around soon after birth - and with plenty of handling they were very friendly and tame. As soon as they heard the back fly screen door go, they would squeak loudly, hoping for some fresh delicacy such as lettuce, carrot, or perhaps crispy apple!
