Sunshine

Lovely to see the sun after yesterday's downpour! Russet and I went for a circular walk around the village and the thistles were buzzing with insects. Not sure what this one is though!
Went to the garden centre this afternoon. It was very quiet for a weekend and of course the plant selection has dwindled as the summer goes by. I bought Rudbekia and yellow osteospernums to take us through the season, and a few new herbs to put by the back door.
