More Clouds

Well the BBC weather tells lies! The forecast for the afternoon was light cloud - rain forecast from 10 p.m. - so we set off for our walk in light cloud at about 4 pm. This was the scene at around 4:15 - and 10 minutes later it was chucking down - we got thoroughly soaked. About the only dry bit of me was my socks - proving my new boots are in fact waterproof.



Another shot processed with the Nik package (I did warn you). For this I gave the clouds some Silver Efex treatment to bring out the details - and the bottom half was given some Colour Efex (Midnight) treatment. Both effects created as layers (with masks) in PS and blending modes/opacity tweaked to adjust the strength of the effects. The original image is added in the extra shot - it is not great quality as it is only a jpeg original from my TZ10 camera.
