Cartography

A summer shoot with the camera club tonight. Under the title "Cartography" we had a couple of cars, a 1930s Morris and our own Lotus Elise together with a model in period dress (for the Morris). We had a great location at Ashridge (near Berkhamsted) and a great turnout. Hopefully everyone got a few good photos.

I was tempted to blip the Morris but working with some other club members I tried a few different techniques to shoot the Elise and particularly liked this angle and the contrast in black and white. Shooting with the camera in "black and white" made this easier to visualise, a bit of subtle flash helped lift the wheels and the setting sun created some great lines.

In other news Annie safely negotiated the channel tunnel to get home earlier this evening. Lovely to have her back.
