Horse-power

I'm not a big fan of gardening, but if I had one of these tractor-trailer combos, I'm sure I'd spend more time in the garden. (Sadly, our garden is so small I'd just be doing three-point turns all the time, but who cares?)

You'd think after yesterday's soggy walk that I'd have learned to wear boots instead of trainers. Turns out that one soaking isn't enough for the message to sink in.

Day Three of reluctant bachelorhood saw me actually switch on the dishwasher and slice up some apple for the guinea-pig. I can also report that one goldfish (well, it's actually black) has been spotted in the pond. No sign of any other fish, so I suspect it's now swimming solo.
