Spot the poulet's egg..

..The hens we picked up a few weeks ago have started laying.. Well, one of them!!. Can you spot which one?

Had problems with the back this morning. Got up and all was well. Showered, out and fed the hens, took Tanni for her run, read the rain gauges and thermometers and meters.. In and fed the cats and dog and all's well so far.. Had my breakfast and checked my blips, facebook and e-mails, and then couldn't move.. I spent the morning on the lounge floor, stretching this way and that, gels applied, painkillers taken, without improvement..

And I was going to get so much weeding done while G is away, huh..

Did phone the music thingy man, and had a long talk about how to sort my problems out.. I have to exclude things in stages to identify the problems, and it's a slow process. Finally decided that the HDD I was using has failed. Now been able to download and install new firmware, which has solved a few problems, but not the connecting to the NAS drive.. E-mailed results off, and awaiting a reply tomorrow..

Back improved by the afternoon, and I ventured out to the tunnel for a couple of hours of very gentle weeding, side-shooting,  tieing up, feeding, and watering.. Planted a couple af trays of lettuce too..

Big harvest tomorrow, and then G's back on Wednesday..
