MonoMonday 78 Spring

This week's MM theme, kindly hosted by Irunlykagirl, is a fourth season, that of Spring. The link between this season and my blip of hens' eggs is a bit of a stretch I suppose but there is one! Spring is the season which  symbolises rebirth, new life  and growth.  . As a source of new life, the egg has been  a symbol of creation, Spring, and fertility in many cultures and religions, long before the advent of Christianity. The egg can also symbolize regeneration in a spiritual sense.
Unfortunately we've long since scoffed all the Easter eggs so I'm making do with some laid by the hens belonging to daughter #1 and her bf!

In other news: the weather here in the UK has remained resolutely unseasonal: cold, cloudy and blustery.
