Going smoothly.

What chaos on the roads today! It's probably the same on this Saturday every year but I've usually got to Penrith show in the early hours of the morning. Not so this year, I was too late booking our pitch.

I couldn't avoid the traffic as we had to get to the holiday lodge and out again to The Lawnmower Man and back again to finish the cleaning. Three of us did a really good gob, getting a bit deeper clean than the usual Saturday work.

We decided to avoid mayhem at Eamont Bridge by going home smoothly and easily, via the lake. It had been a lovely sunny day and only clouded over as we jostled for a parking place to see the yachts.
