Unfinished

This is a scarf, an unfinished one.It was begun about 1990, yes, only 25 years ago! It was for #1 Daughter while she was still at Junior School to contrast with her school uniform of grey,burgundy and light blue.

The knitting bag was discovered in one of our decluttering forays.. The bag belonged to my great Aunt and I remember it from my childhood..

I have two pairs of knitting needles in the bag, 9s and 7s. I was more used to working with 8s and 10s. The reason I was knitting this scarf was that I had already knitted Rachel a jumper by this method and she loved it. It seemed to grow with her for several years.
