Loo of the Year

Got to know this unique award when visited Lincoln. I don't actually know how nice these toilets were as I didn't use them - thanks friends for telling me of them!

As loo is the one that many people pick up when talking about British slang, I had been keeping it in mind before coming to the UK. Then in the UK I could have just a few opportunities to hear people actually saying it. This example let me know that a slang term may be used in some formal register as well, which was surprising to me.
