Another incarnation....

of the Buddleia Weyeriana Sungold which I blipped here on 6th July.  At that point the flower was still flourishing and attracting insects, but even today in this faded state I think it has it's own appeal.

There's not been much opportunity to get outside with the camera today so instead we've spent a lovely afternoon with friends, just putting the world to rights.  The rain has also meant that at least today we have a legitimate excuse for not doing all those long over due outside jobs.
