5.04am.

For reasons unknown I was awake at 5.00am and when I looked of the bedroom window there was this very pretty sky.

The recorded time is 5.04am and the sun actually popped above the horizon at 5.23am. I don't often see sunsets or sunrises especially these early ones in summer. I'm more likely to see them when out walking early in the shorter day months in winter.
It isn't spectacular but I decided to make it my blip for its rarity value.
It was followed by a cooler but sunny morning but as we left church the rain started and the more autumnal weather we've kept hearing about since Thursday finally arrived.
