Fleece and shorts weather

After a late start to the day we set off down to Alnmouth for a walk on the beach with Louie. Lovely! In this direction it could be the Med. - glorious blue sky and sunshine - but it was chilly enough for the traditional Northumberland beachwear of fleece and shorts to be entirely appropriate! In the opposite direction, the sky was black with ominous-looking clouds...

Had our picnic and another stroll on the beach before heading to Alnwick - we couldn't put off tackling the weekly shop any longer...

Out for a meal with friends in the evening.
