Fading lily

The lilies are coming to an end. By the end of July, most flowers have about given up in the garden except for the phlox and that great standby, zinnias. Each year I throw out zinnia seeds in any open space and the brave things carry on providing color pretty well until the first frost.

Another hot one. Very humid and a heat index way up in the hundreds.
