Silvery checkerspot

I think this is a silvery checkerspot, but if I'm wrong, please correct me. I have put a shot of it with its wngs open in the extras. It had come into the mudroom and was much less fluttery than outside!

We are really into summer now. I hear that it has been even hotter in Paris and that London has had its highest temperature ever recorded. It must be very difficult without any air conditioning.
