Down by the sea

Son and I did a walk down to the seafront this morning. We're both aiming to get our fitness levels up a bit. I just about managed it there and back, though it was pushing it. The air temperature felt like very late summer, rather than actual summer. These cool strong winds don't want to stop!

I spent half the afternoon amending a banner for church with acrylic paint (it had a wrong date on it). From a distance it will look just fine! The other half I spent typing the news sheet and then reading (a secondhand book by Kate Morton, bought at Amberley). Enjoying it so far!
