Dinner poolside

After spending all day at the beach, our plans were to stop at my sister's house (which is close to the beach) and go for a quick swim and cocktail before getting showered and dressed for dinner at a fancy restaurant.
Maybe it was the cocktail, maybe it was the beautiful summer night. I was in the pool and I said to my husband, 'would you be disappointed if we canceled our reservations and just hung out by the pool and ordered some take out?' He was fine with it so that's what we did. A very relaxing evening and the food was just as good.
