St Peter's Hall
A 9 mile walk today, after the rains passed, in the quiet Suffolk countryside South of Bungay, known as "Saints Country" - presumably because of the names of the local villages - St Nicholas, St Michael, St Peter and the rather OTT name St Margaret South Elmham.
After about 5 miles we happened on St Peter's Hall, which turns out to have a thriving brewery. The old hall in the picture contains a bar, selling the local produce. Amazing coincidence eh?
My sole extra today is the sundial at St Michael's Church, with its admonishing inscription: "Why stand gazing? Be about your business." Why indeed.
