A steep learning curve

Today we went to St Peter's School near Cambridge to watch Katie P's football team trounce their opposition 16-0 (gulp) and afterwards visited the new velodrome right next door and watched a couple of cyclists doing circuits on this spectacular track. The steep gradient at either end was almost perpendicular and more than daunting for this granny looking down from above!
