Abstractions

Up in Cork today for work in the morning, but took the afternoon off for a wander. Did a mooch around the city centre, felt a bit under the weather, so it was a slow mooch. I went into the Crawford Art gallery, and had a look at two exhibitions, Head to Head a group of sculptures by Irish artists with heads as the theme. Some very interesting approaches taken. I really liked some of the main exhibition too, which was a collection of the work of Seán Scully called Figure/Abstract. Well worth a visit.
