loch tay

left edinburgh this morning and had a glorious drive through loch lomand national park up to killin, on the shores on loch tay. passed by some breathtaking scenery and couldn't resist stopping for a paddle in one of the lochs en route.

we reached killin and went straight to the loch for more paddling, picture taking and general awe and wonderment. lovely pint and a leisurely game of scrabble in our hotel before heading out to check the waterfalls and have some fish and chips.

it's been an incredible trip so far but i'm more than a little excited about the next stage. onto oban tomorrow to catch the ferry to mull.
