Mosaic Art

At one of the entrances to Livingston's Almonvale Shopping Centre a most beautiful mosaic has been laid pebble by pebble painstakingly by hand. I have yet to discover more about it as it has just been finished. West Lothian Council has produced many lovely pieces of artwork around the town. After 50 years as a 'New Town' is has enlarged outwards but yet the landscaping has the effect of still being in the countryside. Thousands of trees were planted and now you can hardly see the town when the trees are in full leaf. With the river running through and lots of paved walks we are very fortunate indeed to live here.
