Female Bluetailed Damselfly.

There were very few flying insects by the moat this morning, the numbers have certainly dwindled over the last week or so.

Thinking about it, it may be that they're not starting to fly until the temperature rises as the day goes on, so with the cool wet weather we've had recently the early moring temperatures are definitely down on those we were having a couple of weeks ago.

This lovely lady was certainly the most glamorous Damselfly i saw this morning, there were others, but i hadn't seen a female Bluetailed Damselfly before so the decision to blip her was simple.
