The best pie in Oz!

Of all the things I could have blipped today, I decided on this!

We picked up our rental car today and drove towards the Gold Coast to look at our properties and also check out Griffith University. There was a torrential downpour and for folks who haven't driven in a year, it was a bit challenging but we made it.

After uni visit, we HAD to drive back to have one of these delicious all Australian meat pies. They really are the best and we indulged big time and even came away with an apple pie for dessert in the evening.

We then headed further to the Gold Coast where we're spending one night before heading up to the Sunshine Coast tomorrow.

Martin's big brother Bruce has come to join us tonight and spend the day with us as we hit Warner Bros. Movie World tomorrow.

Okay, I have to say that it is just wonderful to be driving again, I REALLY do miss it and we've rented an SUV ...I'm thrilled.
