Solitary bee houses

Thank you to an unnamed blipper today who posted a similar shot. It reminded me that I ought to post our bee hotel as for the first time since we've had the accommodation bees have taken up residence. Very nice to see.

We're off to Scotland tomorrow, mainly to help Doreen celebrate her 90th birthday with her family, most of whom live in Edinburgh. So today has been a bit manic, ploughing through an ever expanding list of jobs that needed to be done, culminating with a final visit to the allotment to gather as many of the remaining blackcurrants as we can, then coming home, topping and tailing some, stweing them and boiling the others to make a jelly. We'll freeze juice to process later.
