Lunchtime At The Weir

We had a good night last with baby Jessica - she had 12 hours in her cot - and woke about 7 this morning. As usual she was a happy little soul, pleased to have someone 'rescue' her.

We sat and read books for an hour or so until  we were all ready for breakfast. After that we had a long play with the toys. I put on some music (Beatles 1962 - 1966) and Jessica was jigging about and 'singing'. She also claps at the end of each song!

Later we went to Wetherby to see the ducks - only they have all left to be replaced by bloomin' seagulls! Taking over the world they are. Whilst there I snapped this group on the benches by the weir - passing the time!

We then met up with our daughter at J32 outlet to hand Jessica back! We are suckers for 'punishment' (not really) as we are off to see them again tomorrow and babysitting whilst Mum is off to a meeting!
