Badger Pub

What a difference a day makes? Had a brilliant day today, I went geocaching this morning for the first time ans successfully located 6 caches at Nymans woods. They were really beautiful woods too!

This evening we had a meal at this pub before meeting up with 8 other people to view badgers! Unfortunately no photography was allowed :(
The viewing hide was at eye level with the badgers, 10 minutes after being in the hide a female appeared and came down to where all the peanuts were for a good feast. A couple more appeared but decided not to hang around. A few more tempted us, but didn't come up close, but for the last 3/4 hour we had a large number snuffling for peanuts in front of our eyes. A couple were about 30cm in front of us. And at one point the was a kerfuffle over a dead squirrel! In the end the most I counted at once was 10! A brilliant evening!
