The cavalry have arrived
Aphids seem to have had free run of my garden with hardly a ladybird in sight over the last few weeks. Now, finally, they are showing up. I don't even mind that they seem to be mainly the dastardly foreign Harlequin Ladybirds. Here you see a late-instar larva going about its deadly business on a spikey eryngium plant.
