Early sunset

Dragged the kids up the hill tonight to look at the view. We've no views from our house, so rarely see a sunset. One good thing about it getting dark so early, is that at least we can get out sometimes to see a beautiful sky like this. This is looking up the Firth to Edinburgh.

Our friends headed home to London today after a lovely weekend (well, I enjoyed it anyway!) We don't see them as often as we'd like so it was nice to have some time to catch up a bit.

Think I need to catch up on some sleep now though!
