Sron Ulladale
Mostly dry and fairly bright day so decided to climb another mountain, Tiorga Mhor. The Harris mountains aren't huge but they are definitely mountains - rough and rocky - and this one had a nice summit ridge.
There were clouds around but they gradually cleared giving views west to St Kilda, north across to Lewis, east toward Clisham and south across Harris, this is the view north and northwest. The crag at the right is Sron Ulladale, apparently one of the most challenging climbing crags in Britain.
We passed some shielings and there were plenty of flowers around (and not too much bog) and we only met 1 shepherd near the end.
On the drive there we passed a very small primary school and the remains of a whaling station.
