Why Is This Man Smiling?

Because he's fussing an Aussie again!

No, we didn't get another dog. It's only been a week since Miss Annie left us, and at this point in our lives, we don't want to own another dog.

Fortunately, we have Paris literally steps away. That's the name of this pretty eight-year-old, a low-key Australian Shepherd similar to Annie in temperament. Her people have taken care of Annie for us when we've been gone for the day, and we've done the same for Paris, and will continue to do so.

She's not as used to having her picture taken as Annie was, so Phil's first shots weren't keepers. Paris then presented her better side, and I bet that Phil will have a fine photo of her on his journal later today. I'll add that link once it's up.
