All good things must come to an end :(

Oh, what a lovely weekend I have had, it is such a shame that it is nearly done. I have looked forward to it for ages and it was utterly fabulous when it eventually arrived....but now I am quite sad it is over. 

LadyG is a well trained house guest, we had such a wonderful day yesterday that I decided it was pointless trying to top it and so I would wing it today. We decided to take it easy, especially after riding high on our Corrietastic tour and giggling like schoolgirls into the early hours of today. So, with little planned we headed to Media City.

We did go up the viewing platform at the War Museum just so that we could look down into the new base of Coronation Street...well I do like to have a little bit of continuity in my Corrie themed weekend! With wobbly legs after walking on the wire floor....oh my, it really isn't good if you look down....we mooched around a bit before heading into town.

A few pics and a drink and cheeky cake later and it all had to come to an end. A quick hug goodbye before there were tears and LadyG went for her train and I drove home. Now we need to plan the next one :))
