Mrs Chaffinch?

This little bird was hopping about underneath the feeders this morning. Chris was interested in its identification some took a few close ups through the window with my small camera.

I was quite pleased with this one especially as it was through rain splashed windows! Got some closer ones but they were less crisp.

We think it is a female Chaffinch. The slight crest on its head made us curious. If it isn't please feel free to tell us what it is!

Brightened up later but a bit cool and windy. Didn't take anything else today.
