Skating

There is so many activities for the school holidays, as a end of holiday treat we went ice skating. On the waterfront (close to Te Papa) a tent has been set up with the rink plus a ice slide.
The children did really well and had a blast. A few tumbles but nothing serious.

We had a lunch date with Robs dad and sister at the cafe in the Botanical Gardens to remember and celebrate Robs mums 70th birthday had she still been with us. it was a place she loves to go and seemed a really nice way to spend her birthday.

I've made banana chocolate muffins, Janelle is in the kitchen preparing pancakes. The others are playing golf on the X Box.
