Falkirk Wheel

The Falkirk Wheel was opened just over 10 years ago as part of the millennium canals project. It is the only rotating boat lift in the world and allows vessels to move between the Forth and Clyde canal and the Union Canal replacing the original locks. On a brief visit today I was fortunate to catch a blip of the lift in action.
