Venice - Lido & sunset

We kept our promise to Little Miss and took her on a water bus today to the Lido (an extra photo shows beach huts Venice style!) It was very hot @ the beach and crowded so we didn't stay too long, but the Lido island was lovely to walk around.

In the evening we went up the Campanile in the middle of St Mark's Square and the views were exquisite. The sunset over all the terracotta roofs and the Bascilica was beautiful.

Finally, as a farewell to Venice we sat in the Square with ice creams listening to one of the orchestras playing!

A fantastic last day to a wonderful holiday.
