Bookcase II.2

Much happier with bookcase II which is now essentially complete. Here is the back which will provide hidden "stacks" for paperback books. The front is an extra since it doesn't look so different from last night, but the whole thing has been taken apart and reconstructed round a rigid core. Now all that's required is to get the extra timber required for the central support for the second shelf, cut the shelves to length and drill the holes for their supports (allowing different heights of the shelves in each section). No run today: dull, grey and damp.

Thinking of the folk in Bosley tonight: I grew up in a nearby town which was proud of the "Wood Treatment". This was not only because they often had the best float in the town carnival, but also because (in the mid-70's) they had the best tug-of-war team in the world.
