Bookcase II.1

Varnish bookcase I side 1 coat 1; trip for materials for bookcase II; watch the end of the TDF stage; varnish bookcase I side 2 coat 1; take Kermit to vet for MOT; start bookcase II.

Bookcase II is more complex in design: needs to be wide since it's free-standing so had the idea to make it two-sided (and put it on wheels) but that limits the scope for bracing and makes it harder to build. Not entirely happy with progress so far, but it'll look fine when it's full of books.

Had intended to go for a long run in the hills this evening, but just too cloudy. Must get out in the next few days or it'll be two weeks since my last run.
