LIGHT SOURCES

By bus to Paisley for coffee in Cardosis with a lovely colleague and friend then on to a late lunch in Fratelli Sarti with another friend. 

Following yesterday's launch into learning to draw, I couldn't help noticing opportunities.  I've become interested in the difficulties posed by competing and complimentary light sources.  This empty wine class made a fascinating study, with sunshine coming from the left through the door, from the right and overhead through the tricolour stained window and reflected back off the shiny cover of the menu.  I'll spare you the sketch and give you the photo instead.  Trust me, you got the better part of the bargain.
