A Wet Monday
on the pier.
Along the pier rail there are all sorts of wonderfully colourful knitted creations, tied there to delight and amuse Saltburn visitors by some quirky, fun-loving, talented Saltburn knitters. The following is taken from a newspaper report -
“The elusive Yarnbombers struck again over the bank holiday weekend, leaving behind woollen versions of seaside sights such as ice creams, sunbathers and fish and chips...and colourful scenes –including donkeys, mermaids and a daring RNLI rescue. 'The yarnbombing has 'become a summer tradition on the front in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Teesside.”
