Thirsty work

We thought the starlings had deserted us until 9 arrived together, feasted and fought over the fat balls and washed down their dinner with their toilet/bath water! 
Thank you for all your kind comments and stars for yesterday's blip.  I'm afraid we have fallen behind with commenting again but will catch up again soon.
We are off to Cambridge in the morning to meet Gilles sister who has come from Cognac in France to sing with her choir.  We return on Saturday in time for our great granddaughter's first birthday and a "Teddy Bear's picnic" in the park, weather permitting!  My poor teddy is now a double amputee but doesn't want to miss such an occasion.   On Sunday we will be travelling to the Lake District to prepare for our son's coast to coast walk the following week.  192 miles if they don't get lost. So, hopefully, some different blips will be appearing although Wifi might be a problem from time to time.
