Bad Hair Day

Thank you for all your very kind comments during the past couple of days.
We spent a wonderful time with our friends who have now joined their eldest son for his Graduation celebration in Hull.  We know they were looking forward to the occasion very much as there is no equivalent in France or in China.  They will spend ten days sightseeing in England before returning to France to live.  We have missed their company today.  It is 35 years since Gilles first visited us as a teenage student.  Where have those years gone!
Another garden blip today.   This clematis seed head always looks as though it is a head of hair that needs a comb through it, although I am reliably informed that this could be the latest fashion in hairdos.
