Celebration

Nearly forgot that today was my friend’s last chemo treatment and only got there as it was finishing, even though there had been a delay of three hours as the clinic had mislaid her file. At least we were able to go out for a celebratory snack.
 
Our guests arrived back from their travels just as I was rushing out and were in and out before heading for an early bed to recover from all the driving.
