The Phoenix Rises

Padstow

A beautiful day for a walk again. Padstow wasn't as busy as we had previously found it, but enough to make our visit not too long. Tea in a strange cafe, which was just like someone's front room, but helped my back after a few miles walking.

A dressed crab for tea was purchased before we hit the road again.

Unfortunately we ended up at a farm campsite. "The top field" should have set off alarm bells as it was a hill side and sloped. In a campervan we need a reasonably flat site to stand any chance of a reasonable night. The converted byre was no better for a shower the next morning.

We live and learn.

We had no telephone signal or internet which caused us a bit of concern. Certain boys were not being communicative and being a Mum......

A walk along the beach, a look at the late night surfers and some cliff erosion evidence kept us amused and tired us out.

Little slopey sleep that night.

As aye
