Gathering

Another gather today, this one finishes in a beautiful glen. A helicopter turned up at the end of the gather to pick up the farmer. To control bracken on the vast hills farmers contract a helicopter with big booms on them and a tank for holding the chemical, they are in our area at the moment, they take the farmer up in the helicopter and are shown where they want sprayed. This farmer had arranged for the helicopter to come to the glen where we finish the gather to pick him up so we all got to see the helicopter come in. Pip was a little frightened of the noisy beast and was growling and quietly woofing at it! Tired tonight and desperately needing some farmers to pay their bills as the fridge is empty. Hopefully soon...
