Wish I could have.

But what a difference a day makes. An hour, even.

The morning was dark, cloudy and a bit wet. At lunchtime the sun came out and the rest of the day was beautiful.

Trouble was, I had work to do. Off to Gaimersheim again on Friday morning, so lots to do this week. The theory is I should have less to do next week, but "...the best laid schemes..."

Being 14 July I should have been declaring a national holiday, of course. Ach well, I'll just have to settle for a fish supper and a diet Coke on the promenade. What style...
