Glory of the garden.

Met up with MrC's brother , wife and cousin, for lunch at Betty's , Harlow Carr, Harrogate .
First a walk round the gardens.
Unfortunately it began to drizzle , but everywhere the flowers still looked stunning.
For me these delphiniums stole the show.
Just wish I could grow them as good!
Very nice lunch in Betty's, and then as we set off home the sun came out!
Back home,and it is a perfect summers day.

We had a very enjoyable "cruise" on the River Aire last night, and no watering of the wine as it stayed fine!

Tomorrow I am meeting four friends, and after an early meal in Leeds, we are going to The First Direct Arena, to see Bette Midler. A "girly" night out! Should be fun!

Sorry I am a bit behind with comments. There always seems so much to do in summer.
