True summer is here

The recent cooler weather and showers have made a pleasant change at the nature reserve. However, working there at midday today I got a bit fed-up with the relentless rain, soggy trousers and streamlets down my neck. In conditions like that one's world shrinks and the myopic focus highlights what is just in front of one's nose - usually drips of water! The sun has just come out and all is well again.
