May All Your Dreams Come True

This lovely is 86 years young today - some of you will recognise my wee Nant; when i started blipping over five years ago we sadly lost Nunk in the first month or so :(

Nant got on with it as she does and here we are five years down the road and she's planning her next holiday to the Isle of Man to see her daughter in a couple of weeks; two years ago there were no planes from Scotland and we drove her to Blackpool to fly from there - that was a fun day out!

She always screams at us if there are any presents purchased, so i do my best to be creative with wool, or lavender out thr garden!

This year we excelled! She mentioned a couple of weeks ago how much she loved Si's French onion soup and she is never one to refuse a bowl of rice; so yesterday after the traumatic head attack we got busy... It took me all day to cook off the rice, thick in condensed milk; it takes me ages to cook anything cause mostly i burn it.

This wasn't burnt tho - and we took it round to her to night! Freezable soup and individually potted rice puddings... And an M&s Tagliatelle for one cause i promised her it.


Job done! No shouting! Delighted Nant!
